UNNAMED ISLAND 009 is a spring island in the shallows. It rises to 240 m and runs ordinary for encounters at density 1. 4% of its spawns carry a pirate captain.

The place

The friendliest island in the Shallows and the one the crew argues about afterwards. It rises out of the water in flights of level terraces, every one of them holding a pool of clear warm water, all the way to a single spring at the top -- a genuinely beautiful place to spend an afternoon, and the game should let it be exactly that for an hour. The step height never varies. Not roughly: never. The people here did not cut them, do not know who did, and will cheerfully tell you the water has always been warm.
