UNNAMED ISLAND 008 is a dead island in the anvil. It rises to 340 m and runs ordinary for encounters at density 1. 4% of its spawns carry a pirate captain.

The place

Two islands, and one of them landed. The west coast is an ordinary old hill with an ordinary old coastline and a graveyard on it. Everything east of that hill is a scar half a kilometre across with sea standing in the bottom of it, ringed by ground thrown outward. You read the whole event by walking, in one direction, with no text: smooth, then broken, then the rim, then the water. The wrong note is the graveyard -- the stones are a century older than the crash, so somebody was already burying people here, and there is no second set of stones after it.
