THE BREACHED CROWN is a volcanic island in the anvil. It rises to 520 m and runs ordinary for encounters at density 1. 4% of its spawns carry a pirate captain.

The place

You do not approach this island, you go INSIDE it: a slot in the south wall barely wider than a hull, dark, echoing, six hundred metres long -- and then it opens and you are at anchor on a warm green lake with the whole crater standing around you like a room with no roof. That is the reveal, and it is staged: nothing about the outside of the mountain says the middle is missing. The wrong note is comfort -- the water is warm, the terraces are the best soil in the region, the town is prosperous, and every one of those facts has the same cause.
